나와 내 한국인 친구

One day i will make time for this blog. And it will be very soon. I promise.

Today, my Korean friend Jiwon came over for lunch. She’s super sweet and she’s surprisingly good at english. She has trouble understanding when people talk, but other than that, she’s pretty great. I was a little skeptical at first, because I had only met her twice before and one of those times I was super drunk hahaha. I didn’t want her to think I was weird for learning Korean; and I’ve realized that there are so many people in this world that learn languages that seem a bit random. And guess what? It doesn’t matter! People are attracted to whatever they are attracted to! And that’s fine.

I didn’t speak much Korean with her; because I was super intimidated. But she says that she can understand me perfectly when I speak Korean! So that’s good! Next time, I’m going over to her apartment and she’s going to cook Korean food. I’m so excited!

Goals for this month:

Stop feeling stupid for learning Korean

Stop doubting your ability in speaking Korean

Don’t be afraid of what people may think about you learning Korean (because chances are they don’t even care)

HAVE FUN DOING WHAT YOU LOVE

Short Update

Hello my friends! These days I’m learning Chinese. Actually, Chinese is so difficult, but I like it. Everyday I’ve been exercising. Lately I’m always tired. But now I’m more healthy! I’m in my class right now so let’s talk later!

My Korean is getting rusty. I’ll have to do something about that immediately. So later this week I will be studying and posting!
